I wonder what are the grammar rules to inflect an adjective in Afrikaans ? It sounds me they're very different of the Dutch ones. ??

Adjectives of more than one syllable always take an ending and adjectives of one syllable  ending in d,f,g,s (dogfees) normally take an ending:
Belangrik-belangrike
Streng-strenge

Monosyllabic adjectives ending in k,p,t,m,n,l,r do not inflect: sterk, groot, swaar.  Adjectives ending in vowel of diphtong do not inflect: blou, mooi, rooi. Then there is exceptions like jonk-jong, lank-lang, oud-ou.
