Can anyone help and tell this non computer techie how to send a large video file to a friend.
I have a video file 593MB, a 10 minute TV programme, that I want to send to a friend to watch. I have compressed it, but it is still 571MB.
If I try to add it to an attachment it seems to take forever and after one hour of seeing a message 'Attaching Message' I gave up.
Any ideas how to send this to someone else?
I am sure there is a simple way to do it, but just do not know how. _________________ Englishman living and working in Ukraine for English Russian Language TV spent 8 years living in Post Elizabeth, South Africa and loved it!

593 MB is too large a file to send via email. You're either going to have to upload it to a file hosting website like SendSpace and provide your friend with the link, or split the file using splitting software like HJ-Split and email each split file separately. Your friend will then have to download HJ-Split at his end and re-join the split files.
May try 'You Tube' as I often watch old music videos there that others have uplaoded. _________________ Englishman living and working in Ukraine for English Russian Language TV spent 8 years living in Post Elizabeth, South Africa and loved it!
