Norwegian, since
1.) the hostess at the beginning addresses the contestants as "dere" (instead of "ni" or "I")
2.) one of the books on the table had the title Velvære: Håndbok... - "æ" isn't found in Swedish, and "håndbok" isn't found in Danish
I initially thought it was Swedish, but the above criteria suggest otherwise. |

Hi! I'm back!
I'm ashamed to say that the video is Norwegian...... :oops:, as our linguistical Sherlock Holmes above concluded!
Looks like some stupid reality show from stupid TV3 with stupid Oslo people speaking stupid Oslo dialect!

Ja, vi får håpe han finner oss. Jeg har heller ikke e-post-adressen hans.
Nei, Walker, de snakker ikke akkurat arbeiderklassedialekt. Men heller ikke noe særlig snobbete. (IT-konsulenten Bård snakker nordnorsk og brunetta snakker bergensk.) Men den dumme blondina høres ekstra dum og personlighetsløs ut når hun snakker pregløs Oslo-dialekt.
Helt i begynnelsen av videosnutten står det faktisk at det er fra norsk fjernsyn, og at det er et virkelighetsfjernsynsprogram på TV3 som heter Prinsessen og Professoren. Den amerikanske originalen heter visst Beauty and the Geek. Jeg har ikke fått det med meg, og det ser ikke ut til at jeg har glått glipp av noe! |
