Lĭ Bái chéng zhōu jiāng yù xíng,
Hū wén àn shàng tà gē shēng.
Táo huā tán shuĭ shēn qiān chĭ,
Bù jí Wāng Lún sòng wŏ qíng.

Here's the translation:

To Wāng Lún

By Lĭ Bái (701-762 AD)

I'm on board; We're about to sail,
When there's stamping and singing on shore;
Peach Blossom Pool is a thousand feet deep,
Yet not so deep,Wang Lun,as your love for me.
Patrix

Or you're not going anywhere, you're just to busy to come here have a cup of langcoffee?
Loic

Heh. That's one poem by Li Bai which I am not aware of.
Deborah

Did you watch Malinga take down 4 wickets in 4 balls, Andre? Wonder if you aged 20 years watching it, just as Graeme Smith did!

Oh, "it" was wonderful!!

My newspaper recently took over a weekly newspaper in a town called Kuruman. (The paper is a daily, but also publishes a number of weeklies within its distribution area.) The new paper was in terrible shape, so it was totally revamped, which is what I went to help with. I did reporting again, for the first time in nearly seven years, which was great fun! In a town like that, you get back to the basics of journalism, walking around, talking tot people, to get stories, instead of sitting in an office.

I worked very hard, but it was worth it. I made a few new friends, and got to know a part of the country which I have never been to before, despite actually growing up only 200km from this town.
Deborah

How nice to enjoy your job!
Pauline

I will be away from 4th until 12th april. Bye.
Deborah

Have a great time!

I might disappear for a while again, due to some trouble with my laptop.... It's behaving at the moment, mainly due to my threat of using it as a dishwasher, but it might decide otherwise at any moment...

Poor laptop!!! I hope that it's better now after the neurosurgery repairs!! It's *very* annoying when your computer doesn't function; i thought that my laptop wouldn't function more some months ago, btu after some cleanup, other malfunctions were reparated (at home, it wasn't necessry take it to the shop) etc.. it's ok. It starts *very* slowly, about an half hour, but after it's working well.

André, I saw south Africa House in London!!! It's a very big building, and I didn't search for it, but nevertheless i saw it. When I noticed it, I rememberd that you'd written about it on the thread
