Can YouTube-type videos be embedded into posts?Just wondering since I tried to do it several times and failed.

For example:
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uAbtEQxFow4"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uAbtEQxFow4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

I haven't tried it yet, so I really don't know. Can those who have, help Harrenys?

Doubt it. Only certain HTML tags work on a forum. Embedded video and audio clips tend not to work as they interfere with the forum layout and can cause other problems.

Yes. just use the following HTML code:
| Code: | <embed src="media/citadel.mid" autostart="false" loop="false" height="45" width="170">
<noembed>Sorry, your browser doesn't support the embedding of multimedia.</noembed>
</embed> |
I will enable these tags soon.

They will work if you enabled the tag. The only way they will mess with the layout is i you make the width so wide that it overhangs.
