Crazy celebrities... every country has them!WTF? Is this for real?
"Tomkitten's" 'first poop' goes on display in New York
NEW YORK (AFP) - Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have yet to show their baby daughter off in public, but eager fans were given an unusual preview with the chance to see a bronze cast depicting her first solid stool.
The scatological sculpture -- more doodoo than Dada -- is purportedly cast from 19-week old Suri's first bowel movement and will be shown at the Capla Kesting gallery in Brooklyn, New York, before being auctioned off for charity.
The artist behind the work, Daniel Edwards, previously courted controversy with a life-size nude sculpture of pop star Britney Spears giving birth on a bearskin rug. That work was shown at the same gallery in April.
"A bronzed cast of baby's first poop can be a meaningful memento for the family," gallery director David Kesting said, adding that he hoped the work would attract bids of up to 25 or 30,000 dollars.
The sculpture, which sits on a wooden mounting with a glass casing, is to be sold on eBay next month with proceeds from the sale going to infant health charity March Of Dimes.
As of Wednesday it had attracted a top bid of 41 dollars.
And WTF are they feeding that poor kid? That crap is huge!

And to prove that every country has them, here's an example from the land of (some of) my fathers:
Filipino 'dwarf' judge loses case
A Philippines judge who said he consulted imaginary mystic dwarves has failed to convince the Supreme Court to allow him to keep his job.
Florentino Floro was appealing against a three-year inquiry which led to his removal due to incompetence and bias.
He told investigators three mystic dwarves - Armand, Luis and Angel - had helped him to carry out healing sessions during breaks in his chambers.
The court said psychic phenomena had no place in the judiciary.
The bench backed a medical finding that the judge was suffering from psychosis.
'Dwarf dalliance'
The Manila trial judge had asked the Supreme Court to dismiss the complaint and return him to the bench, after being sacked in April.
"They should not have dismissed me for what I believed," Mr Floro told reporters after filing his appeal in May.
The judge said he had made a covenant with his dwarf friends that he could write while in a trance and that he had been seen by several people in two places at the same time.
Judge Floro reportedly changed from blue court robes to black each Friday "to recharge his psychic powers".
In a letter to the court he said: "From obscurity, my name and the three mystic dwarves became immortal."
However, the Supreme Court said dalliance with dwarves would gradually erode the public's acceptance of the judiciary as the guardian of the law, if not make it an object of ridicule.

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Killed
CAIRNS, Australia - Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and environmentalist known as the "Crocodile Hunter," was killed Monday by a stingray while filming an underwater documentary on the Great Barrier Reef. He was 44.
Irwin was killed by a stingray barb to the heart on Batt Reef, off the remote resort town of Port Douglas in northeastern Queensland state, his wildlife park Australia Zoo said in a statement.
Crew members aboard Irwin's boat, Croc One, called emergency services in the nearest city, Cairns, and administered CPR as they rushed the boat to nearby Low Isle to meet a rescue helicopter. Medical staff pronounced Irwin dead a short time later, the statement said.
Irwin was famous for his enthusiasm for wildlife and his catchword "Crikey!" in his television program "Crocodile Hunter," which was first broadcast in Australia in 1992 and has aired around the world on the Discovery channel.
He rode his image into a feature film, and developed the Australia Zoo as a tourist attraction.
"The world has lost a great wildlife icon, a passionate conservationist and one of the proudest dads on the planet," John Stainton, Irwin's friend and producer, said in the statement. "He died doing what he loves best and left this world in a happy and peaceful state of mind. Crocs Rule!"

And speaking of crazy celebrities, that wacky Anna Nicole Smith certainly fits the bill. But my heart goes out to the poor dear. I cannot even begin to imagine how she must be feeling right now.
Anna Nicole Smith finds her son dead
By Gene D'Alessandro
Inquirer Staff Writer
The 20-year-old son of Anna Nicole Smith has died in the Bahamas, where the former Playboy playmate and reality TV diva had given birth to a girl just days earlier.
Authorities have not determined what caused the death of Daniel Wayne Smith, 20, said a spokeswoman for Trimspa, the diet products company that Anna Nicole Smith has endorsed.
According to police, the younger Smith had stayed overnight in his mother's Nassau hospital room. Smith tried to awaken him about 9 a.m. Sunday, and called for help when he did not respond. Doctors were unable to revive him.
Sources cited by the Nassau Guardian newspaper suggested that the cause of death was a "massive heart attack," but neither doctors nor the local coroner had confirmed that, according to the Guardian. The newspaper reported that Daniel Smith arrived in Nassau on Saturday, after his mother had given birth.
Police officials earlier said there were no signs of physical injury to Smith nor of violence in the hospital room where he died, and there were "no reports of drugs, legal or illegal, on [Smith's] person at this time."
The star's Web site, www.annanicole.com, announced both the birth of her 6-pound, 9-ounce daughter on Thursday and the death of her son, and showed a photo of Smith and her son floating on a raft. "Anna Nicole is absolutely devastated by the loss of her son. He was her pride and joy and an amazing human being."
Smith has not revealed who the father of the baby is.

...And to complete the purging of the American soul, Britney Spears has started divorce proceedings against Kevin "Popazão" Federline. Thank God. The guy is vile, and apparently has supersperm.
Britney gives birth, slims down . . . then files for a divorce
Only eight weeks after giving birth to her second child, the pop star Britney Spears has filed for divorce from Kevin Federline.
Her decision draws a line under one of Hollywood’s most tempestuous and talked-about unions.
Spears, 24, filed her petition at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking sole custody of her two sons — Sean Preston, 14 months and Jayden James, eight weeks — with only visitation rights for her husband.
The timing, on the day of the midterm elections, appeared to have been chosen to counter the inevitable blaze of publicity.
By the way, if it's showing in your area, and you'd like to give your abs a good 80-minute workout without doing crunches or sit-ups, I strongly recommend watching the new movie Borat: Cultural Learning of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. The naked fight scene alone should get Sacha Baron Cohen an Oscar!

Thank god Britney's come to her senses! But I hear Federsleazy is asking for sole custody of their 2 boys. A-HAHAHAHA! Like a judge would approve that! The Britney money-train has derailed, K-Fed, now would you please just go away?

Elderly woman hit after actress throws laptop
Jonathan Fowlie, Vancouver Sun
Published: Thursday, November 09, 2006
Hollywood actress Denise Richards hit an 80-year-old woman in a wheelchair with at least one flying laptop Wednesday while battling paparazzi during the filming of her new movie at the River Rock Casino in Richmond.
Richmond RCMP spokesman Cpl. Peter Thiessen said Richards took and threw two laptops belonging to photographers who had come uninvited onto the set of Blonde and Blonder -- a movie Richards is currently shooting with Ladysmith native Pamela Anderson.
"Denise Richards recognized them [the photographers] and took exception," said Thiessen, who said he did not know what led Richards to become upset.
"She grabbed their two laptops and threw them off a balcony," he added, noting there appeared to be a history between Richards and the photographers.
Thiessen said the 80-year-old woman was one floor below Richards when she was hit but said she was not badly hurt and is not interested in laying charges.
Thiessen added that the photographers called police after hotel staff took away their laptops and refused to give them back.
On Wednesday night, a representative from the casino spoke to the media about the incident but refused to give any details.
"We had an unauthorized entry of some individuals onto the set of Blonde and Blonder, which is currently shooting on our property," said Howard Blank, vice-president of the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation that owns River Rock.
"The alleged incident was some people coming onto the film set unauthorized and there was a bit of a ruckus," he said, adding the incident happened at about 6 p.m.
Thiessen said representatives of the film company agreed to pay for damages to the laptops and that no charges are going to be laid by anyone involved in the incident.
Blonde and Blonder is described as Legally Blonde meets Dumb and Dumber, as the two stars are chased by police and criminals after being mistaken for paid assassins.
Filming on the 19-day shoot began in October.

Poor miss Spears. She's really let herself go. Her long neck and big forehead, and chubby face reminds me of a dinosaur. But, that's the path she chose. Every woman has the right to have babies. | Quote: | O.J. Simpson to discuss killings Wed Nov 15, 12:09 PM ET
Fox plans to broadcast an interview with O.J. Simpson in which the former football star discusses "how he would have committed" the slayings of his ex-wife and her friend, for which he was acquitted, the network said.
The two-part interview, titled "O.J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened," will air Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, the TV network said.
Simpson has agreed to an "unrestricted" interview with book publisher Judith Regan, Fox said.
"O.J. Simpson, in his own words, tells for the first time how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes," the network said in a statement. "In the two-part event, Simpson describes how he would have carried out the murders he has vehemently denied committing for over a decade."
The interview will air days before Simpson's new book, "If I Did It," goes on sale Nov. 30. The book, published by Regan, "hypothetically describes how the murders would have been committed."
In a video clip on the network's Web site, an off-screen interviewer says to Simpson, "You wrote 'I have never seen so much blood in my life.'"
"I don't think any two people could be murdered without everybody being covered in blood," Simpson responds.
Simpson, who now lives in Florida, was acquitted in a criminal trial of the 1994 killings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman. Simpson was later found liable in 1997 in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the Goldman family.
Messages left with Simpson and his attorney Yale Galanter were not immediately returned. |

| Quote: | Town closed for TomKat wedding
17/11/2006 21:30 - (SA)
Bracciano - A medieval lakeside town outside Rome and its residents prepared on Friday for an onslaught of fans, celebrities and paparazzi on the eve of the eagerly awaited wedding of movie stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
Streets were cleaned, the grass cut and weeds pulled. Road signs outside Bracciano warned drivers that the centre of town would be closed to traffic all of Saturday to free the area around the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle - the likely venue for the celebrity wedding.
The historic town's narrow streets teemed with journalists and camera crews, and shops adorned their windows with fond messages wishing the couple well.
"Wishing you love and happiness," read one written in English and taped to the window of a coffee shop.
"Congratulations Tom and Katie," said a sticker on the window of a clothing store, whose two other windows sported a wedding dress with a photograph of the couple, and a Top Gun theme with aviation outfits and jackets, and a poster of Cruise as Maverick, the pilot he played in the movie.
'People aren't buying bread'
Nearby, a store had an arch of white balloons over its doorway, except for one red one shaped like a heart. A picture of the couple and a postcard of Bracciano hung from the red balloon.
"This is good for the town. It's a beautiful thing that will make Bracciano known to the whole world," said Iolanda Barbarani, who owns a hardware store.
Lidia Sabbatini, who owns a flower shop, said residents were besides themselves with excitement.
"Everybody is so enthusiastic. ... it's not an everyday thing to have a Hollywood star as a guest," Sabbatini said. "That's all anyone is talking about. Wherever you go, they're talking about it. People aren't even taking the time to buy bread!"
On Thursday, Bracciano Mayor Patrizia Riccioni said the celebrity couple would likely wed on Saturday in a Scientology ceremony at the castle, 43km north of Rome.
While she stopped short of confirming the actual date of the wedding, the town's website had a picture of Cruise and Holmes under the headline, "The wedding of the year in Bracciano, Saturday 18 November 2006."
Seem in love
Riccioni, who met with the couple on Wednesday at an undisclosed location and gave them a gift, said on Friday she had received a large bouquet of white flowers, including roses, from the couple.
"These beautiful flowers arrived from both of them with a thank you note," Riccione told The Associated Press, adding that she was "almost moved" by the gesture.
Riccioni described her meeting with Cruise and Holmes and baby Suri, who was born April 18, as "intimate," saying that "they seemed to be a couple in love who is ready to take the big step of getting married."
She said that her office had not received any request to celebrate a civil wedding as of late Friday morning, and that she believed the ceremony in Bracciano would be Scientology rite.
Probably a civil union too
Scientology ceremonies contain many elements of traditional weddings - rings, procession, vows, etc. But they also include certain Scientology fundamentals, including vowing to never to go to bed without communicating about any differences. They also stress the Scientology tenet known as ARC - A for affinity, the closeness between a couple; R for reality, what a couple agrees on; C for communication, the exchange of ideas and thoughts.
A spokesperson for the Church of Scientology for Rome, Fabrizio D'Agostino, said an exchange of vows with a Scientology rite was not legally recognised in Italy, and would have to be preceded or followed by a civil union.
The medieval castle - with its frescoed library and a loggia looking out on a lake - and the town that surround it have seen celebrity weddings before. CNN foreign correspondent Christiane Amanpour and US State Department spokesman James Rubin married there in 1998.
The same year, Italian pop star Eros Ramazzotti and his bride, TV personality Michelle Hunzicker, had their reception at the castle, gathering a crowd of TV celebrities and pop stars, including Tina Turner.
Cruise and Holmes have been staying this week at a luxury hotel near the Spanish Steps in Rome. They dined out on Thursday night with about 50 guests at a small, nearby restaurants.
Those spotted coming and going into the restaurant included Mission Impossible III director, JJ Abrams, Brooke Shields and Jennifer Lopez and Lopez's husband, singer Marc Anthony.
Meanwhile, more VIP guests were expected to fly into Rome on Friday. Will Smith arrived at the city's small Ciampino airport, and soccer star David Beckham and his pop-star wife Victoria were expected later in the day.
Cruise and Holmes were first photographed together in Rome in April 2005. They became engaged in June 2005.
Cruise flew into Rome on Monday with an entourage of 10.

May 6th 2007 11:02AM TMZ
Paris Hilton is not going down without a fight.
The day after she was sentenced to 45 days in the slammer for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license, Hilton walked outside her house and told a gaggle of camerapeople, "I told the truth yesterday. I feel that I was treated unfairly."
Hilton called the sentence "both cruel and unwarranted" and added "I don't deserve this." |
Uh, honey, if I were driving around on a suspended license, which btw was a result of a DUI, I would be carted off to jail and given a tougher sentence. She was supposedly pulled over by cops on several different occasions and only given warnings so what the f*ck does she mean she was treated unfairly??
Her mom Kathy is quoted as saying that this is a waste of taxpayers' money. No it's not, you uppity snoot! When your daughter drives around drunk, she's a danger to not just herself, but others on the street. And the fact that she continued to drive on a suspended license shows a complete lack of regard for the rules and society... and a brain. So this is a case of taxpayers' money well spent.

The craziest celeb in Hungary is probably "Fekete Pákó" (Paco Black). He is an ex-student of law (i.e. a uni drop-out) from Nigeria who made his fortune in Hungary by performing ultra mega low-quality Hungarian pseudo-folksongs and hooking up with as many Hungarian women as possible. (FYI, those are songs that try to emulate new-style Hungarian folk songs but bear uncanny resemblance to Svabian folk music (Grrrr!) at the same time, have stupid lyrics and are traditionally played at wedding parties.) Imagine these types of songs being performed with a thick foreign accent. What's more, the bloke can't sing at all.
