Eurovision 2008I would be curious to know what do you think about "Eurovision Song Contest" ? It's a programme I watch every year. Even I sometimes keep it on video tapes. I find it really marvellous so many different countries taking part in a music event. I've heard it's also shown to many countries outside Europe. I've already listened to several songs which will enter the contest. At the moment my favourite is the one which will represent Ukraine.

This year even France will have a song in English. Don't think i'm chauvinistic I'm not lol I like this song too.

An other song I like this year is the song which will represent Hungary. I like the version in Hungarian too.

Oh, that's a nice song! Well...not only because it's Hungarian but...anyway, it's a nice song. Besides, the singer is not only beautiful (I think) but sings really well.
The funny thing is that no-one seems to be familiar with her real name, she's just "Csézy" (her stage name). Born and raised in Mezőkövesd (County B.A.Z., North-East Hungary), she is a genuine matyó girl (if there is such a thing nowadays). That area is famous for its traditional embroidery and clothing ornamented with this type of embroidery.
Oops...I've just found her real name: it's Csézi Erzsébet (or Erzsébet Csézi if you wish). She uses her family name (with an "y" to look more international ). Interesting...

it seems to me it's a very romantic song. The first guy I was attracted by was Hungarian. So maybe it's reason when I hear such a song it reminds something good and a beautiful memory.

Yes, it's an overly romantic song.

This song was written by a Hungarian guy, too.

I voted for Finland. I liked the song. I liked also the Icelandic and the Swedish songs. A thing I find a little bit silly in Eurovision. Several countries vote more political than for the quality of the song.
