Hello all!Yes well thank you. I'm looking forward to it. One of my resolutions is to get back to some of my old favorite pasttimes, one of which being visiting langcafe. Sadly, it seems a bit dormant since I've been gone. I didn't realize how invaluable I was to the forum.

Pues...supongo que podria plantearte la misma pregunta! He estado muy ocupado con mi trabajo y la vida en general. Deje de vistar langcafe por varias razones, una de las cuales siendo que sencillamente, faltaba el tiempo. Tendras que perdonar el hecho de que no use los accentos. Soy demasiado flojo, lastimablemente!  Me da pena que ya no tengamos mucha actividad aqui en langcafe. Con todas las inquietudes que nos lanza la vida, no es de extranar que padezcamos la perdida de tantos miembros. Tienes tu algun modo de comunicarte con los que han dejado de participar en el forum? Has intentado comunicarte con ellos recientemente?

I myself haven't tried to contact our missing members, but André had emailed everyone once or twice before with minimal results. Pues ni modo...

Sorry! I was on vacation, and then I got a new computer and had to set up all my old favorites again and yadda yadda yadda, the usual excuses ... nice to see it hasn't gone totally dead! There was nothing but crickets here for a while.....

Workin' on it -- apparently it is now available in my area, but requires making arrangements through both my ISP and the local phone company--so it's a pain in the ass and hasn't happened yet! But my iMac is badass compared to that ancient Dell.....

He's been busy with work and life in general, so he hasn't visited Langcafe for various reasons, one of which was simply that he didn't have the time. You'll have to forgive him for not using the diacritical marks. He's a little bit something, unfortunately. He's something that there much activity here on Langcafe. Given the something, it's no wonder we've lost some members. Is there another way to get in touch with the people who used to participate in the forum? Have you tried to communicate with them recently?[/code]

Uriel! One of my favorite chicks on langcafe! Glad to hear from you. Thank you for trying to translate my paragraph, (and you did more than a fine job) but just so that my thoughts aren't miscommunicated, allow me to translate the above real quick.

Well, I suppose I could ask you the same question! I've been real busy with work and life in general. I quit visiting langcafe for several reasons, one of which being that I simply lacked the time. You'll have to excuse the fact that I don't use accent marks. I'm too lazy, sadly! It pains me to see that we no longer have much activity here on langcafe. With all the anxieties that life throws at us, it's no wonder that we suffered the loss of so many members. Do you have some means of communicating (staying in touch) with those who have ceased participating on the forum? Have you tried contacting them recently?
Okay, now that I translated what I said, we should be able to extend the life of this thread...
