Technology Q&A (formerly "To iPod owners")(To iPod owners)
...Or anyone who owns an mp3 player, really.
Do you know how to get your music files to play at the same volume? I don't like turning the sound up for one song, only to be deafened by the next song because it's louder than the last. Any ideas on how to correct this?
And yes, all my music files are the at the same kbps. 160.

On iTunes, there's a feature called "Sound Check" that's supposed to adjust the volume of all your songs to the same level on playback. I don't know how well it works, though. I can't remember if I had this feature activated when I uploaded my playlist to my iPod.
To activate, go to 'Edit' on your iTunes menu bar, scroll down to "Preferences", click on the "Playback" tab, and check the box labelled "Sound Check".
You also might want to read up on this article which explains what Sound Check actually does.

That worked for most of the songs! Thanks for the heads-up Julian

Does anybody here know how to operate Sidekick 3? I'm trying to figure out how to open emails that have attachments, but so far all I get is "Unable to open" messages.
Also, when I send pictures that I've taken with my Sidekick to my Photo Album, I'm supposed to be able to view them at my T-Mobile site on any computer, but so far no such luck. What gives?

Have you registered a My T-mobile account yet?

Yes I have. I think it's operator error though, and this operator's a little on the dim side when it comes to technology.

At the moment, my friend is having trouble logging into her My T-mo account also, so it's not just you. Site maintenance, perhaps
