The Roman conquest of GaulAccording to ancient sources, two-thirds of Celtic Gaul's population was either annihilated or taken captive to Rome. I find this very hard to believe. What is your opinion on this? Are these sources credible, or was it merely an exaggeration on the part of politicians writing at the time? Submit your opinions.

You mean contemporary sources were utterly wrong? Or are you saying that questioning those sources are wrong? Please clarify. And, you might want to give an explanation for your opinion.

where did you get this information ?
I'll say 100% of Gauls were retained in Rome, since Gaul was integrated to it !
