The story...

It was raining the day Sonja arrived in Amsterdam. As she walked out of Centraal Station, the city seemed as gloomy as she herself felt, knowing what she had come to do here.
Akoni

As she walked towards the Dam she noticed the rainclouds had grown thicker, she picked up her pace towards her destination.
Porthos

En route to her destination, she had felt so secure and confident in what she was determined to do. But once she stepped out onto the city streets, the alieness of the whole place permeated the very air, and she felt disoriented, confused. What had only recently seemed so clear in her mind, now felt hazy. But Sonja was not the sort to shrink back from adversity, so onward she pressed. She waited out in the rain, and hailed a cab. She got in.

"Where to?", asked the taxi driver.

"The Manden Hotel resteraunt, please."

And off she went, to confront him...................
Pauline

during the taxi started the drive to the restaurant Sonja leaned her head on the window and looked at the big raindrops in the beginning of the storm outside. She was very tired and couldn't remain awake. Like an evil premonition there were 3 gunshots and she suddenly waked and saw the taxi driver who knocked on the window for wake up her. In one second sonja remembered why was she in this taxi and she picked up her bag and opened the door. But it wasn't Amersterdam, it wasn't Holland ; in panic she looked to her watch and it was 7 hours after the time she has left Centraal Station.........
Fredrik

Bewildered Sonja looked out on a flat, green, marshy landscape with a few isolated farms scattered on small hills above the meadows and ponds. She could smell salt sea air and turned to her rather handsome driver (she now noticed) to ask what the hell was going on?
He smiled mysteriously and said:
- Wolkom yn Fryslân!
Pauline

sonja listened him tell her this words but she didn't had an idea at all what he said because she can speak only english and italian. But she didn't asked him because it was evidnet he was not a genuine taxi driver because she wasn't in the Manden Hotel.she must quickly think how to escape, but she's decided to stay because he was so hadnsome. She didn't had much fear because she had a special ring what contain poison and a gun - this things she was given by MI5 for when she will confront him (probably not the taxi driver)...

The handsome driver, oblivious to her growing signs of distress, continued to natter on in rapidfire Frisian. What purpose does it serve to speak in a foreign language to an audience that has clearly little inclination to learn it, Sonja wondered aloud.

The driver stepped out of the vehicle and motioned for the bemused M15 agent to follow suit. Noticing her special ring on her finger, he politely enquired -in English- if she was married.

'Oh?', exclaimed Sonja in exasperation. 'So you do speak English, you git!'
André in Zuid-Afrika

"Yes," the taxi driver replied. "I do speak English. In fact, I speak several languages."
"OK great," Sonja said. "Would you mind telling me what's going on, where are we, who are you?"
Akoni

"Hostiles had figured out what you were supposed to do in Amsterdam, so I had to extract you as quickly as possible." Said the MI5 Agent. "You were hit in the arm, but I patched you up. We need to take out the subject at another day and time." After hearing she had been shot Sonja felt a sharp pain in her upper arm. "Don't worry, it was a ricochet, you'll be fine." said the agent to which Sonja replied:"I still don't know who you are." The agent said: "My name is Habo Aaldenberg, I'm a local agent for MI5 here in the Netherlands."
They looked at the landscape. "So where are we?" asked Sonja "We are in the North of the Netherlands, Friesland to be exact." Said Habo.
Pauline

Sonja was aware that the Friesland informations were for disorient her beacuse it don't take 7 hours getting there from Amsterdam also she knew it was other reason why her upper arm was painful and there was some blood, but this she would deal with later.

" this location is completely safe ", explained Habo, " when they've reclaimed this area from the sea it was designated special zone and it was not put on the maps "

This didn't surprised Sonja, who had a tracking device in her right leg so it would become evident the true location, what she think is the island near sweden called Hawaii on fab's map of what swedish people think about Europe. She had studied very well fab's maps during her training : he was the director of the cartographers.
André in Zuid-Afrika

Sonja realised that she could not trust Habo, that he was not who he said he was. But it was also important that he thought she believed him, that she trusted him. Until she could figure out a way to escape, she had to pretend to work with him.
She smiled.
Akoni

Habo saw her smile and thought it was a pitty she had to die sooner or later. His boss had ordered him kill Sonja. He had to kill her as soon as she had told him the encryption method used on the telephone lines the British government uses for top secret phonecalls. Habo was a tall and handsome man, he had blue eyes and light hair. Sonja was thinking for whom Habo worked. She couldn't quite figure it out.
André in Zuid-Afrika

Despite herself, Sonja realised that Habo intrigued her. There was something about him which she couldn't really put a finger on, something soft, despite his rugged exterior.
She was trying to figure out his accent, which somehow sounded familiar. She knew his speaking Frisian earlier was simply a ploy to divert her.
The sound of an approaching vehicle made both of them look up. It seemed to Sonja as if Habo was not expecting this.
Pauline

The vehicle approached them and stopped. The car was incredible : very long with windows who you can't look through them from outside. One window was slowly opening and suddenly Jade Goody exclaimed : " Sonja !!!! how are you ? I don't see you since we were in school. !!! "

Sonja and Habo were absolutly shocked !!!!

Jade told them that after the scandal in Big brother she''s decided escape to a place where there aren''t people. Then she said : " sonja and your handsome boyfriend - get in the car and we can have a party there's champagne and food, chocolates and TV ! "

Sonja decided ...
Loic

She took her time deciding. She tweedled her thumbs and hummed tunelessly while her companions waited.

Jade smiled a tolerant smile and asked her to hurry -for heaven's sake!- as the paparrazi were hot on her pursuit.

'Say,' Sonja asked. 'Why were you so mean to that Indian girl on Big Brother?'
Uriel

"My God, I couldn't think of any other way to get off that show!" Jade said airily. "And the Cheshire Cat was adamant that being on public television was hardly the best way to conduct oneself undercover!" She winked and helped herself to another truffle. "I disagreed; I thought it was the perfect cover. Who would suspect me, of all people, of being the Green Belle? Do try one of these, Sonja darling; they're amaretto creams. Simply divine!"

"Sorry," Sonja said, smiling apologetically. "I'm allergic to almonds."

But inside she wasn't smiling at all. A cold hand clutched at her heart. So this was the infamous Green Belle? The assassin who left a small, green-glass bauble in the mouth of each of her victims? Only the truly arrogant, truly psychotic killers went out of their way to get so close to their prey -- normal professionals -- like Habo probably was -- did their dirty work from a distance, through a sight, and got the hell away from the scene. They certainly didn't go out of their way to risk leaving DNA or any other personal evidence on the body!

She looked from Jade to Habo and back again, and took a deep breath. Okay. Here she was, in a gaudy stretch limo, in the company of two hired killers. Both of whom had gone out of their way to identify themselves to her, so she probably wasn't on their hit lists herself. Yet.

But professionals were a solitary lot. They generally didn't congregate in pairs like this. Something was up, and she wished to God that she had never signed that paper in Rome.
Akoni

Habo was thinking about the Green Belle, was she hired in case he didn't succeed? He was very suspicious and he really didn't want to spend another second around this woman, the Green Belle.
Pauline

uriel

if you're psychotic it dont'have nothing to see with arrogant and most people who have psychosis don't be aggressive and abslulty *not* be a murderer / killer.
Deborah

[She may have meant "psychopathic".]

suddenly Sonja heard a sound like a cat. the Cheshier Cat told her : " hallo Sonja, if you will look to the left, on the chair next to Jade you will see me, but nobody esle can see me" Sonja looked and saw the cat.

The he explained her : " don't be frightened of the green belle !! I control her thoughts but she don't know it !! You will be safe during the time in this car, but I must warn you, that Habo has the plan to assassinate you. He work for the romanian secret service and his country want to have power and control of all of europe. now they have the plan code 37*>|1b first step : manipulate all MI5 agents. You must find a very powerful magnet for remove the thing they've put in your upper arm. Be careful !! You must do this when they don't look, for exemple when they're asleep. There is a magnet in the toolbox in the front, so you must ask the driver - he expect you to ask him because I've put this thought in his mind. "

Sonja was surprised that the cat told her but she's very happy that she know whta's going on. Then, Habo ....
Pauline

announced : "champagne !!! for everyone a bottle of champagne!"

sonja was surprised when he continued : " Jade, you were genial on the Big Brother, our plan did went fantastic. Now all the world don't anymore respect britain because of the bullies and racists. The ghost of Ceaucescu was very pleased with you, and he has awarded you a prize! "

Jade was enthusiastic about her prize, and the Cheshire Cat was evilly laughing and Sonja was wondering if the others can hear this laugh.

So, Sonja concluded, Habo, Jade and the CHeschire Cat were workign together -but why the cat told her those things before? Then suddenly the cat said : " in your thoughts you are asking you, why I've given you important informations. This is because I'm double agent: I'm a very nice cat and extremely intelligent so I can manipulate their thoughts. My plan is preventing romania to take power of Europe. I will lead those people to their death what they will cause and I will liberate all the other countries. The media is very well manilpuated and it was a worldwide succes but this don't matter because most people are very stupid and they will forget when there's some newer scandals"
André in Zuid-Afrika

"Ma'am! Ma'am! Wake up, we're at your hotel!!"
"Stop the Romanians, stop the Romanians." Sonja mumbled, then sat up as she realised where she was. She had fallen asleep in the taxi. It was a long flight from Johannesburg, and she didn't get much sleep on the plane. She smiled as she thought about her dream, then suddenly remembered what she came to do.
"Baie dankie," she said to the taxi driver, paid him, and got out. In front of her was the Manden Hotel. She walked inside.
Akoni

The hotel lobby was huge. The lobby had large chandoliers hanging from the ceiling and there was a little fountain in the middle. Sonja decided to sit on the edge of the fountain for a while.
Pauline

The fountain was beautiful ; different colours lighting were in the water. Then Sonja rememberd that the reservation for the meal in the restaurant would be about one hour later, so she decided that she must check in for get her room and unpack. In one of her bags was a very important object, so
Deborah

as soon as she got her bags up to her room, she locked the door, closed the curtains, and checked the room to make sure there were no hidden recording devices. Then she opened the smallest suitcase and pulled out that special object that had been such a comfort so many times, the one she thought of as her special friend: her

.338 sniperrifle, the assassin's friend. She had to clean and assemble it after such a long journey.
Loic

A sudden knock on the door disturbed her reverie. Sonja hurriedly hid her rifle underneath the bed. She could not remember ordering room service. She has definitely given the porter a handsome tip so he couldn't be back to ask for more.

She hurried to the door and was about to turn the doorknob when she suddenly became prey to an unexplained fear and apprehension of what lies beyond the door. Now, Sonja has always prided herself on her ability to cover her tracks well so it is implausible that her identity has been exposed. Bearing this knowledge in mind, she opened the door.

A tall dark stranger stepped in and spoke in a deep baritone voice that would have her purring in delight if not for the fact that she was on duty. Secret agents never mix business with pleasure. 'Miss Sonja, I presume?' he extended his hand to her.
Deborah

Sonja guardedly extended her hand toward his, and the moment her skin touched his, a breeze came through the one window she had forgotten to close, carrying with it the passionate strains of a tango from the milonga down the street. Before she knew what had happened, Sonja had been spun around the room, and she found herself bent backward in a dip, cheek-to-cheek with the handsome stranger, who whispered
Uriel

"Three six nine. At the Verzetsmuseum. Fourteen ten. He is a Frieslander, tall and blond. He works for the rogue MI5 agent -- sorry, ex-MI5 agent -- they call the Cheshire Cat, so do not trust him. Eight, nine, two."

They reached the end of the room, reversed direction without skipping a beat, and continued. "He thinks that the two of you are to meet for drinks and discuss telephone technology; how you accomplish that distraction is your own business. But by the end of the night, he needs to be dead. Take him out quickly, and leave the scene, but do not be in too great a hurry to leave Amsterdam, as the Cheshire Cat knows you are here, and will doubtless put two and two together if you flee so quickly. Five, twelve, four, and nine!"

He twirled her and dipped her in a decidely un-tango-like flourish, kissed her on the cheek, and was gone.

The enigmatic and dangerous Cheshire Cat. The Frieslander from her dream. Was it possible that she had had a premonition as she dozed in the back of that taxi?

Hardly, she decided, disassembling her rifle piece by piece with practiced snaps and twists and packing it lovingly back into its velvet-lined bed, to sleep quietly until she needed it again. She was not some country girl from the deep forests, believing in astrology and rusalka and the evil eye. She had two degrees from the University of Prague, she could speak twelve languages -- five fluently -- and she knew her codes well enough to have deciphered the clever subtext of the dancing man's numbers even as they stalked about the room in perfect precision and discussed this unexpected assignment.
Pauline

"Shit!" exclaimed the Cheshire Cat, after he listened the instructions of the handsome stranger and watched on the screen, projected from the cameras hdden in the room: " this crazy man didn't never learn to dance well! I must dance with Sonja". He was absolutly furious that this fake handsome stranger (who was in reality an hologram created by the FBI) told Sonja to take out him.

But, the Cheshire Cat wasn't long time annoyed because he saw those thougths of Sonja, that he's enigmatic and dangerous and was very proud and happy. i will win this, thought the Cat, the stupid hologram don't have no chance!!! sonja will believe me when I will meet with her, and together we will prevent all the holograms' attempt for world domination.

He rememberd those days in Prague and then

took a quick decision. He had to reach Sam before the stranger did. If he failed to do so, Sonja's life might be in danger. But how to get to Sam?
ddog800

It would be tricky. He knew he was at a disadvantage because, by nature, he could not read or control the holograms thoughts. The FBI knew this and that is why they had begun to use holograms as agents in the first place. It was only logical once it became within their capabilities. However, they had not foreseen the consequences of these actions. Even they were not aware of what their own creations could become, and had become, or plans for world domination, as brazen of an idea as that was. The holograms did have the advantage. And they knew it.

However, There was another troubling element to all of this that he had not accounted for... the Romanians. The holograms had worked covertly to subvert dozens of missions initiated by the MI5 in the last few years, and there was but one connection to all of them: They all involved surveillence of top Romanian officials, and what they believe was a covert agenda to take over Europe, and possibly further. In fact, this was the holograms mistake, and was how he began to unravel the dark mystery behind their agenda.

What troubled him more, however, was that there was now someone else who was aware of these things, though she herself did not fully realize it yet. Sonja. Her dream. He had seen it, but he did not understand how she could come to know these things. For the first time in years the Cheshire Cat felt as though there were elements of the situation that were out of his control. And he was still unsure of how to proceed....
