Who should play you?Right, Hollywood has finally woken up and realised that it's time to film your life story. Who should play you?
Now, if Brad Pitt works on his body, I'd be happy if he plays me
On the other hand, Arnold Vosloo already has the accent right.

Pick him, André, pick him! :P
:? What about Kristin Kreuk, for me? She'd have to grow 2 inches taller, and I'd have to put in green contacts, but....
...the resemblance is there, don'tcha think?

Considering who I am at night this is Klaus Kinsky who would probably play me the best (if he was alive).

Oh, absolutely! And she should wear the contacts!

Now, it's midnight!
I have some urgent work to do...

According to Elaine and/or Uriel in the old langcafé, my youth should have been portrayed by Gloria Grahame or Susan Hayward. But they’re both dead (one at 56 and one at 57, and I’m coming up on 56 this month – gulp!), so I don’t know who would play me in my youth now. However, according to that stupid celebrity photo recognition site someone posted a link to in the old langcafé, I should be played at my present age by either Annette Benning – OK, I’ll accept her – or Anthony Hopkins… :? Anthony Hopkins woud be more accurate in one respect -- I've never been in the habit of wearing lipstick.

Oh, and Joanne, Kristin Kreuk looks just about right to play you.

Yes, I think so too. And I think I should be played by Giovanni Ribisi.

I remember that website :? Annette Benning I can see, with your cheekbone structure. Anthony Hopkins is laughable, though! But no worries, that site told me I looked like Jackie Chan. Way to deflate an ego, huh? :D

Am I remembering your picture correctly? I think you're better looking than he is :?

No, you're not!  Well, thanks! Anyhow, I was mainly thinking of Giovanni as an actor. I think he'd be the guy to play me because I think he might be able to catch my personality pretty well.

Hmm... the only characters I remember him playing are the creepy guy who had a crush on his teacher in The X-Files, and the funny-creepy guy who married his home economics teacher in Friends.
Oh, Walker....is there something you'd like to tell us? ;-P

I suppose it doesn't hurt to post a link to that celebrity resemblance website again for those who have never in their lives considered which actors/actresses are best suited to play them:

Hehehe... Well, I've seen him in Heaven, The Gift, Saving Private Ryan, Cold Mountain and Lost in Translation and some other movie which name I forget now. And no, I don't have a crush on any teacher!
Hey, André! New avatar! :)

I did. I remember having a celebrity resemblance to an unknown -at least to me!- Israeli actor.

As I mentioned on another thread, I would be thrilled if the ravishing Eva Mendes played me.
Not that I think I look anything like her, but I'd love it if audiences walked away from movie theaters thinking I was muy caliente!
I ran that face recognition program and it gave back names that I'd never heard of-- Adriana Karembeu, Nakashima Mika, Priyanka Chopra, Elena Paparizou... as well as Faye Dunaway(pre-plastic surgery or post?), Laetitia Casta(!), Natalie Imbruglia, and Sienna Miller. I feel so international.

I discovered something interesting about that celebrity lookalike site. I submitted a photo of myself in my younger days in which I'm somewhat turned away from the camera. Then I reversed the photo and tried again, and got a completely difference list of people. I already knew that it searches for photos that are taken from the same angle, but I thought I'd get at least 1 celebrity who showed up in both lists.

Do you remember the other site you posted? It had a face analysis, and a race analysis, too. (It told me I was Korean and looked like Jackie Chan. ) I had an account with them, but can't remember the address. :?

Joanne: Oh dear, I think I have deleted that from my list of Favourites. But that race analysis criterion was really arbitrary: depending on the angle of the shot, you can have racial resemblance from any ethnic group, really.
