Are you sure the problem is the domain has no longer been paid for? If this were the case we should get a message like "the website cannot be found" or "the page you tried to access no longer exists", or a page proposing to buy the domain or a commercial portal.

What we have is a phpbb error message. The file sessions.php is still on the server, but the SQL query returned an error code. According to me it means the domain is still ours and the php files are still on it. I guess the database is still there too (otherwise we'd get a "couldn't connect to the databasse" message) but is corrupted. Can someone confirm/infirm?

By the way, doesn't Kirk have the password to download from / upload onto the old server?

André, why not use the one that Yann created but never implemented?

Or you're free to use any one of my simple designs.

Well, what if he popps up then to claim royalties?

Andre,

I got to tell ya. I really dig this forum, and sincerely appreciate the fact that we have user registration on this site. But I propose that we have a history section for the forum, just as we have one for politics and culture and things of that nature. Most of us are inclined towards historical topics, as we are interested in various fields of social studies.

So, I would suggest that we have a "history" section. Is that something which is considerable?

I think that this forum is really great. :)

Especially, the subjects - everone can create a thread for what is interesting to them, and this threads not are dleted whne we discuss related topics, but a little differnt that the exact title.

Also, the emoticons, avatars, membership, PMs, and the just moderation.

Please moderate my messages if you consider the content isn't good or something. I will be happy not angry, but please to send me a PM and explain me why have you moderated. Until now, 2 of my messages have been moderated, and it was a very good reason and i received a PM.

I'm vyer sorry that sometimes I write some crazy things. it's not deliberate and mostly i write normal things.Thanks.

Hi

I'm wondering if I can be a moderator of a thread please? For example the german one I can be the moderator as well as harrenys because he's very busy so he doesn't often visit, or a dutch thread would be okay.

Thanks.

Ja, selbst wenn ich hier bin, macht es keinen Spaß, der einzige Moderator vom deutschen Forum zu sein.

En iets nieuws wacht op jou bij de grootste nederlandstalige draad.

Hi André and all the Moderators

Thank you very much for the decision to make me a moderator on the german and ducth threads!!! I didn't expect that you will accept me as moderator, and especially not for so many threads (I mean all the german & dutch ones) !!!

Yesterday I nearly edited aquatar's message!!! I was replying her but I didn't noticed I've clicked edit because I thought that it was the quote one!!! I'm not accustomed to see so many things at the right of the messages (edit, quote, IP , delete etc..) fortunalty I noticed ; how I noticed was when there wasn't [quote] so i thought it wasn't as usual and when I controled it I saw that it was editting What a good luck that I've noticed before to post it!!! It woudl be terrible to edit her message!!! Now I will be very careful to chose quote !!!!!

I'm fed up that all the peopl are angry with me adn accuse me that I've done somethign what I didn't do, for exmaple here and on antimoon. there they've put a message with my name but I didn't wrte it: Pauline Mon Jun 25, :35 am GMT
I want to be a moderator. I am nice, polite and educated. And I love to kill those evil people who hate me.

so I don't want to be moderator at all or vsit the forums more.
