Welcome to our forum Laura! I'm so excited to have an Italian on here. I love Italians. I've longed for one for some time now. Not to mention that you are a *girl* and my age to boot! Do you speak another language besides English by any chance?

I agree. But if you choose to write in euskara, mesedez, provide a link to an euskara-english/français/castellano translation site! Oh, and...Ongi etorri!

Hello, Irrintzi/Ikasi - your English is great, and I wish I could say the same of my Basque...maybe I can practice when I get to San Sebastian or Bilbao. ^_^

To André in Zuid-Afrika, and Harrenys Targaryen:
Thank you for your compliments, but dont amaze you to find faults of English sometimes!

To Deborah:
You mean that it would be necessary to create a forum for the Basque, as the "sub-forums"? How we make?
"mesedez", "Ongi etorri!" Harritua naiz! Nola badakizu euskal hitz hauek? Ahal duzu mintzatea euskaraz?
I am amazed to see how much of nobody know words of Basque...

No, I meant that if you write in Basque, probably none of the current members (except maybe Daniel?) would understand, unless we could use an online translator. If you want to start a Basque forum, just ask André. I don't know whether moderators can create sub-forums. And if you start a subforum, maybe it will attract more Euskara speakers.

I'm afraid I only copied those words from this Wikipedia article:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basque_language

So what does "Harritua naiz! Nola badakizu euskal hitz hauek? Ahal duzu mintzatea euskaraz" mean?

Ok! it's a good idea! I am thus going to prepare a link of translation...
I am also going to try to see if it is useful and possible to create a sub-forum of Basque.

The translation is:
I am amazed! How do you know these words? Can you speak in Basque?

Done! You'll find it in the language forum.
