The one I can't get out of my head now is called "On and On," appropriately enough. It's fairly cheesy soft rock from the 70s, by Stephen Bishop. It was the last thing I heard as I left the CVS Pharmacy this morning.
I'm contemplating setting the place on fire later tonight. Molotov cocktails, anyone? _________________ "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies." ---- Groucho Marx
Since I'm German I have to say that "Looking for Freedom" by sexy *cough* Hasselhoff is the catchy tune no one here will ever forget. And there will probably be no other merciless song that is able to undo this dreadful curse... _________________ Jeder hat ein Recht auf meine Meinung!
I may never forgive Kylie Minogue for her little contribution to pop culture: "I just can't get you out of my head/ boy, this song is all I think about...." _________________ An apple a day....
It took me a minute to figure out what song that was (I don't dare open youtube on dial-up), but you're damn right, Lazar -- and I LOVE that song! _________________ An apple a day....
For few days, I have a song in my head. Last week I went to the club and they broadcast it. For this time I can't get it out of my head. When I'm falling asleep, when I'm revising my exams, when I'm taking my shower I keep on singing it in my mind.
The singer is Christophe Willem. He's a winner of the French "American Idol". Fortunately I like his song, otherwise I would have turned mad! " alt="" border="0" />

This young lady showing way too much skin for a girl her age sat next to me on the bus this morning. Fergalicious was blaring from her iPod. So that's the song that's been stuck in my head all day.
The carpool driver had Kenny G's Songbird playing on her sound system. I don't know about you guys, but I have to sing a song repeatedly to get it out of my head. That doesn't work with saxophone modern jazz _________________ "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies." ---- Groucho Marx

I recently attended the Alumni Weekend where I went to college, the North Carolina School of the Arts. There was an all-school production of West Side Story that weekend, which I had to see, the movie having made such an impression on me when I was a kid. I'm really glad I saw it live, because that made it sort of new, and I was able to relive some of the excitement I felt at seeing it for the first time.
Anyway, now I've got the opening of the "Dance at the Gym" stuck in my head, partly because the staging was so great.
Our unit secretary was asking me if I'd seen "Happy Feet" yet (I haven't), and launched into "Tell Me Something Good", which I could not stop humming the next hour. But that was okay -- good song!
After watching "Madagascar", I tortured our night charge nurse with "I Like To Move It, Move It" all night -- after she banned me from singing, humming, or even bouncing in my seat silently, I printed the lyrics off the internet and slipped them into her stuff -- she was deliciously livid! (And later burned me the soundtrack....) _________________ An apple a day....

I woke up this morning singing "Parole parole parole parole parole parole..." and I've been singing it ever since. I can't for the life of me figure out why! I don't even know the lyrics except the chorus and "Caramel, bonbon et chocolat".
Italian version with Mina & Alberto Lupo:
French version with Dalida & Alain Delon (vocal only):

This afternoon I went to my former English teacher's house. She organised a picnic with her current students and her former ones. We sang a song which became our "class anthem" last year. It's the Billy Joel's song "we didn't start the fire". Each time we sang it I had it for the rest of the day, and today isn't an exception!
