Last week, I went to a Blockbuster Video a few minutes before it closed for the night. One of the workers turned on the store sound system and played a dance remix of "Amazing" by George Michael. The kid was so nice, he downloaded it into my iPod. I had forgotten how catchy this tune is, especially this version, and I'm not even close to tiring of it yet. _________________ "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies." ---- Groucho Marx
Call me a little behind the times, because I don't think they even exist anymore, but a friend just turned me on to Massive Attack, and I LOVE them! Gotta love that low, hypnotic delivery style -- it's not really singing, per se -- that that one guy has. _________________ An apple a day....

I love Massive Attack, especially Mezzanine which got a lot of play on my CD player way back when. Looking forward to their new album, I hear they're collaborating with Hope Sandoval.
A song I can't get out of my head since I heard it again on the Net. The melody is so catchy and they have so marvellous voices.

This is a very good song.

Yes, they're really great too. I like very much this kind of music.
Me, too. Unfortunately, I don't know too many people who like this kind of music except for my parents. _________________ Az alvástól megéhezem. Az evéstől elálmosodom. Az élet szép.
I can say I don't care if a tune is in or not to like it. It doesn't disturb me to be considered old fashioned. Do you like "Earth Wind & Fire" too ?
This is my favourite tune by them.

Oh, Mezzanine is excellent. And Hope Sandoval did a great collaboration with the Jesus and Mary Chain way back when (which sadly you can't find in any stores these days -- great guitar band!) -- she'd be great with Massive Attack. And I KNEW that singer on Teardrop was the chick from Cocteau Twins -- I think someone owes me dinner! _________________ An apple a day....

Props for bringing up the Jesus and Mary Chain! I listened to Munki a lot in the summer of '98 (I had just graduated from high school and went wild with abandon to celebrate-- ah, memories!).
Hope Sandoval sang on 2 JaMC songs-- "Sometimes Always" and "Perfume". Loved Mazzy Star!
All these youtube links! It's a shame I can't view them now.
They are handsome things, but I'm not wild about the boy-band pop tune. The guy with the rock-hard abs is hot but annoying. He's one step away from Chippendales.
