announced : "champagne !!! for everyone a bottle of champagne!"

sonja was surprised when he continued : " Jade, you were genial on the Big Brother, our plan did went fantastic. Now all the world don't anymore respect britain because of the bullies and racists. The ghost of Ceaucescu was very pleased with you, and he has awarded you a prize! "

Jade was enthusiastic about her prize, and the Cheshire Cat was evilly laughing and Sonja was wondering if the others can hear this laugh.

So, Sonja concluded, Habo, Jade and the CHeschire Cat were workign together -but why the cat told her those things before? Then suddenly the cat said : " in your thoughts you are asking you, why I've given you important informations. This is because I'm double agent: I'm a very nice cat and extremely intelligent so I can manipulate their thoughts. My plan is preventing romania to take power of Europe. I will lead those people to their death what they will cause and I will liberate all the other countries. The media is very well manilpuated and it was a worldwide succes but this don't matter because most people are very stupid and they will forget when there's some newer scandals"

"Ma'am! Ma'am! Wake up, we're at your hotel!!"
"Stop the Romanians, stop the Romanians." Sonja mumbled, then sat up as she realised where she was. She had fallen asleep in the taxi. It was a long flight from Johannesburg, and she didn't get much sleep on the plane. She smiled as she thought about her dream, then suddenly remembered what she came to do.
"Baie dankie," she said to the taxi driver, paid him, and got out. In front of her was the Manden Hotel. She walked inside.

The hotel lobby was huge. The lobby had large chandoliers hanging from the ceiling and there was a little fountain in the middle. Sonja decided to sit on the edge of the fountain for a while.

The fountain was beautiful ; different colours lighting were in the water. Then Sonja rememberd that the reservation for the meal in the restaurant would be about one hour later, so she decided that she must check in for get her room and unpack. In one of her bags was a very important object, so

as soon as she got her bags up to her room, she locked the door, closed the curtains, and checked the room to make sure there were no hidden recording devices. Then she opened the smallest suitcase and pulled out that special object that had been such a comfort so many times, the one she thought of as her special friend: her

.338 sniperrifle, the assassin's friend. She had to clean and assemble it after such a long journey.

A sudden knock on the door disturbed her reverie. Sonja hurriedly hid her rifle underneath the bed. She could not remember ordering room service. She has definitely given the porter a handsome tip so he couldn't be back to ask for more.

She hurried to the door and was about to turn the doorknob when she suddenly became prey to an unexplained fear and apprehension of what lies beyond the door. Now, Sonja has always prided herself on her ability to cover her tracks well so it is implausible that her identity has been exposed. Bearing this knowledge in mind, she opened the door.

A tall dark stranger stepped in and spoke in a deep baritone voice that would have her purring in delight if not for the fact that she was on duty. Secret agents never mix business with pleasure. 'Miss Sonja, I presume?' he extended his hand to her.

Sonja guardedly extended her hand toward his, and the moment her skin touched his, a breeze came through the one window she had forgotten to close, carrying with it the passionate strains of a tango from the milonga down the street. Before she knew what had happened, Sonja had been spun around the room, and she found herself bent backward in a dip, cheek-to-cheek with the handsome stranger, who whispered

"Three six nine. At the Verzetsmuseum. Fourteen ten. He is a Frieslander, tall and blond. He works for the rogue MI5 agent -- sorry, ex-MI5 agent -- they call the Cheshire Cat, so do not trust him. Eight, nine, two."

They reached the end of the room, reversed direction without skipping a beat, and continued. "He thinks that the two of you are to meet for drinks and discuss telephone technology; how you accomplish that distraction is your own business. But by the end of the night, he needs to be dead. Take him out quickly, and leave the scene, but do not be in too great a hurry to leave Amsterdam, as the Cheshire Cat knows you are here, and will doubtless put two and two together if you flee so quickly. Five, twelve, four, and nine!"

He twirled her and dipped her in a decidely un-tango-like flourish, kissed her on the cheek, and was gone.

The enigmatic and dangerous Cheshire Cat. The Frieslander from her dream. Was it possible that she had had a premonition as she dozed in the back of that taxi?

Hardly, she decided, disassembling her rifle piece by piece with practiced snaps and twists and packing it lovingly back into its velvet-lined bed, to sleep quietly until she needed it again. She was not some country girl from the deep forests, believing in astrology and rusalka and the evil eye. She had two degrees from the University of Prague, she could speak twelve languages -- five fluently -- and she knew her codes well enough to have deciphered the clever subtext of the dancing man's numbers even as they stalked about the room in perfect precision and discussed this unexpected assignment.

"Shit!" exclaimed the Cheshire Cat, after he listened the instructions of the handsome stranger and watched on the screen, projected from the cameras hdden in the room: " this crazy man didn't never learn to dance well! I must dance with Sonja". He was absolutly furious that this fake handsome stranger (who was in reality an hologram created by the FBI) told Sonja to take out him.

But, the Cheshire Cat wasn't long time annoyed because he saw those thougths of Sonja, that he's enigmatic and dangerous and was very proud and happy. i will win this, thought the Cat, the stupid hologram don't have no chance!!! sonja will believe me when I will meet with her, and together we will prevent all the holograms' attempt for world domination.

He rememberd those days in Prague and then

took a quick decision. He had to reach Sam before the stranger did. If he failed to do so, Sonja's life might be in danger. But how to get to Sam?

It would be tricky. He knew he was at a disadvantage because, by nature, he could not read or control the holograms thoughts. The FBI knew this and that is why they had begun to use holograms as agents in the first place. It was only logical once it became within their capabilities. However, they had not foreseen the consequences of these actions. Even they were not aware of what their own creations could become, and had become, or plans for world domination, as brazen of an idea as that was. The holograms did have the advantage. And they knew it.

However, There was another troubling element to all of this that he had not accounted for... the Romanians. The holograms had worked covertly to subvert dozens of missions initiated by the MI5 in the last few years, and there was but one connection to all of them: They all involved surveillence of top Romanian officials, and what they believe was a covert agenda to take over Europe, and possibly further. In fact, this was the holograms mistake, and was how he began to unravel the dark mystery behind their agenda.

What troubled him more, however, was that there was now someone else who was aware of these things, though she herself did not fully realize it yet. Sonja. Her dream. He had seen it, but he did not understand how she could come to know these things. For the first time in years the Cheshire Cat felt as though there were elements of the situation that were out of his control. And he was still unsure of how to proceed....
